We undertake the whole range of repairs and restorations that may be required on instruments.
These range from the more common and frequent repairs; new bridge, sound post work, shooting fingerboards, new pegs, and rehairs through to more extensive restoration and reconstructions. These include pressing sunken archings, new bass bars, new necks, half edging and so on.

As well as violins, violas, cellos, basses and bows, we also undertake work on early and period instruments including lutes, viols and viola d’amores.
Most minor repairs can be carried out within one week, larger repairs, are always arranged as far as possible to suit the musician's schedule. We frequently are called upon to carry out emergency work at very short notice.
