| Bridgewood & Neitzert are makers, dealers and repairers of fine modern and baroque stringed instruments. We started in 1983 as makers of lutes, viols and baroque violins.
We have been at our current premises (in Stoke Newington, north London) for more than 10 years. This includes shop, playing rooms and workshop. Customers are welcome and our clients range from beginners, students and working musicians to world-class soloists.
We can advise on stringing and string problems and on instrument repair and restoration. If you are considering upgrading your instrument we can often offer part exchange - or you might consider selling it on commission through us. This is usually a good way to maximise your profit. We also provide a valuation service, for sale, insurance, probate and so on.
We stock an extensive range of instruments, including electric, and we are stockists of specialist strings such as Baroco, Dlugolecki, Kurschner, Aquila, Pyramid, Savarez, Sofracob, Pirastro and CHD - all available by mail order if required.
